It is hard to believe two weeks of VBS have passed. The boys had a wonderful time. Daniel was a little sketchy, but he is only three and has never gone before.  The first week they went to St. Rose in Perrysburg and this week they went to St. John's in Stony Ridge.   It has been a busy two weeks and I am looking forward to not having to take the kids somewhere every morning at 8:30.  I hope

We have a new pool set up in the backyard and the kids are loving it.  Sunday we spent the afternoon outside and the weather was really amazing.  I got to sit on the patio and listen to music and soak up some sunshine while the kids splashed in the pool.  Daniel refuses to go in it, but the other boys are swimming a lot and enjoying it.  It was very nice to hop in the water and cool off.  I think

Daniel's new favorite thing is the sippy cup. He took no time in learning to master it. He looks like such a big boy now with his cup. Drew visited with us for his birthday. He is 16 years old already! We had supper with Grandma and Grandpa Daney. I made baked chicken, cheesy potatoes, sauteed spinach, salad, and Italian loaf bread. For dessert we had cherry cheesecake made by Grandma. It was good! Drew went shopping for his presents and he got some nice dress clothes.

We listened to my favorite childhood Christmas record, The John Denver Muppets Christmas album as the boys got cookies and milk ready for Santa. We went over to Cedar Creek Church to see their light display. The boys thought it was really cool. Caleb's homework was to make an Advent chain. He cut the strips of paper all by himself and looped them into the links. I taped them together for him. He made a link for each day until Christmas. Everyday he cuts a link off the chain and then counts the links remaining. Joah "helped" too.
